The Student Journal of AI & Technology

I · Who We Are

Graduate-reviewed editors

The Student Journal of AI and Technology is an online, open-access academic journal that publishes peer-reviewed research and review articles in artificial intelligence and technology, written entirely by high school students.

We are the sister publication of the Student Journal of Business and Economics. Most high-school journals are general or STEM-focused; we specialize in AI and technology specifically, the field where our editorial board has direct graduate-level training.

Every accepted paper is read by a member of our editorial board and assigned its own original, permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI), registered through Crossref, the same DOI registration agency used by major academic publishers. Once a paper has its DOI, it is citable and discoverable indefinitely.

III · Scope

What we publish

We publish two kinds of work in AI and technology: original research (papers that contribute new evidence, models, or analysis), and review articles, which synthesize existing literature on a focused question. Submissions outside of AI and technology are not considered.

Our scope spans machine learning, software and systems, data science, robotics and autonomous systems, human–computer interaction, computer vision and NLP, cybersecurity and privacy, and AI ethics and policy. Breadth is a feature: any rigorous question at the intersection of AI and technology is within scope.

Submission is free. The publication fee ($200 standard, $250 fast track) is charged only after a paper is accepted. See submission guidelines for full details.
